The Australasian Exploration Geoscience Conference returns in 2027, bringing geoscientists from industry, academia and government together at the Adelaide Convention Centre from 19–24 September. AEGC 2025 attracted more than 800 delegates to Perth for four days of technical sessions, new technology, research, big ideas and the very important geological activity known as networking.
In 2027, it will be Adelaide’s turn—and it is hard to imagine a better conference destination. The Convention Centre sits beside the River Torrens in the heart of the city, with accommodation, restaurants, public transport and great South Australian food and wine and interesting geological localities all within easy reach.

Program and registration details are still to come, but the dates are already worth putting in the diary. AEGC 2027 (https://www.aseg.org.au/events/aegc-2027/) promises excellent science, valuable connections and a very good excuse to spend a week in Adelaide.
