Palo Alto, CA (June 19, 2020) — Knowledgette, an online learning platform specializing in bite-sized video lectures for the oil and gas industry, and the Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia (PESA) have partnered to deliver even more learning resources to individuals in the oil and gas industry.
“Furthering our mission to deliver short, in-depth, and engaging content individuals at all stages of their career in the oil and gas industry, we are thrilled to add PESA to our partner network,” said Dr. Shipeng Fu, Knowledgette’s Founder and CEO. “We’re looking forward to working with PESA to create and offer new courses that allow people to individualize and conduct their training at the most relevant and convenient time given their schedule.”
First step beyond USA
The most recent partnership not only extends Knowledgette’s partnerships outside North America for the first time, but will also bring even more content to Knowledgette’s existing user base as PESA courses will be recreated in Knowledgette’s easy to digest style and added to Knowledgette’s existing library of courses taught by leading industry professionals.
The Chair of PESA’s Education Sub-Committee, Bonnie Lowe-Young, commented that “PESA is very pleased to have entered into a partnership with Knowledgette which will provide our members with an excellent opportunity for knowledge sharing and individualized learning from industry experts in association with renowned partner societies at an international level.”
PESA joins Knowledgette’s existing partnerships and joins Knowledgette’s unique partnership model that enables all members from partner societies to view and learn from all partnership societies for free.
This content sharing benefit offers great opportunities for ongoing, cross-functional learning amongst each society’s members. Knowlegette’s partnerships with PESA and other expert organizations in the oil and gas industry are part of a broader effort to bring organizations from across the oil and gas industry together on a single platform for shared learning.
Existing partners include, American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (CSPG), Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), and Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts (SPWLA).
“Believe it or not, different disciplines in the oil and gas industry do not usually partner together in meaningful ways outside of events. I am thrilled that Knowledgette is becoming a place where individuals, membership organizations, academic institutions and others can finally come together and share a common platform for broader industry knowledge and growth,” said Dr. Fu.
