The PESA Meritorious Service Award (MSA) recognizes individuals who voluntarily provide exceptional service to PESA at State or Federal level over a significant period of time. No more than three MSAs are made in a single year, and an individual can only receive the award once.
We are happy to announce that Cristy Little and Vincent Crombez have been nominated successfully by the WA Branch for the MSA award for their contributions to PESA.

Cristy was nominated for her role as Sponsorship Manager for the WA Branch Committee. She has been instrumental in securing significant sponsorship from the WA industry. This has been crucial in enabling the WA Branch to offer a robust technical program including luncheons, evening talks, training courses, core workshops and field trips. Her energy and commitment have been critical to the success of the WA Branch.
The Federal Committee also noted her excellent efforts in supporting the WA technical program, technical meetings are one of the most important benefits of PESA membership according to our member survey.
Vincent was nominated for his significant contributions to PESA in recent years at both state and national level. For the WA Branch he served as a committee member and co-organised core workshops. He has also played a critical role in serving as the Technical Chair of both the CABS2022 and AEGC2025 conferences. The CABS2022, held in Darwin, and the AEGC, held in Perth, were both resounding successes and a testament to the ongoing member appetite for these types of events.
We thank him for the tremendous amount of work that he undertook to ensure the technical programs for both of these events were of high quality and relevance to our members. Vincent’s service represents the true spirit of the volunteer work that PESA and its members rely on.
We thank both Cristy and Vincent for their continuing efforts and congratulate them on receiving the 2025 Meritorious Service Award.
