The recent WA golf day at Joondalup Resort was a wonderful way to round up the year. Below is the gallery of some of the most memorable shots.

For details on the event, visit the event page.

Fortunately the forecasts of +40 degree heat on the day of our golf event were unfounded, and everyone enjoyed the day, which actually only maxed out at 33 degrees.

There was lots of fun on course, with the charity hole being run by the committee. Plenty of balls got lost down into the quarry to be eaten by snakes and never seen again. Also for the first time we had a new fun competition to see who could drive a marshmallow the furthest, so congratulations to Richard Jones for winning that.

A big thank you to all our sponsors to help make it happen – Platinum Sponsor DownUnder GeoSolutions and other sponsors – Wireline Services Group, HiSeis Pty Ltd, Katalyst Data Management, CGG (GeoSoftware), RPS, Shearwater GeoServices, MAGSPEC Airborne Surveys Pty Ltd and NRG New Resolution Geophysics.

Thank you to the raffle prize contributors – EPI Group, Searcher Seismic, WesternGeco, CGG, CGG (GeoSoftware) and Resource Potentials Pty Ltd. Your generosity and interest in helping us make this day enjoyable is thoroughly appreciated.

Thank you to all the players who helped raise funds for such an important cause. This was our 3rd year supporting our charity of choice Parkerville Children and Youth Care INC. Together we raised $3000! This is what it costs to put one abused child through treatment at Parkerville. For so many reasons, this day always brings a happy feeling.
