Abstract
The growing urgency to address climate change felt by policymakers, industry leaders, investors and the general public is now accelerating CCS deployment in many regions around the world. This talk will discuss the role of CCS in achieving net zero emissions and provide an overview of the latest project and policy developments globally. We will discuss broad global drivers, macro trends, and the current CCS landscape across key regions, including Asia Pacific, the US, Canada, Brazil, Europe, and the Middle East and North Africa. The session will also cover critical policy drivers, finance and investment trends, and the challenges and opportunities in realising CCS at scale.
