The 2023 Basins Workshop will take place on 5 and 6 December 2023 at Curtin University, Perth in association with PESA WA Branch. The aim of the workshop is to provide an informal forum for the exchange of insights and ideas regarding the evolution of sedimentary basins in Australia and around the world, and the diverse resources they contain, including hydrocarbons, minerals, geothermal energy, natural hydrogen, and the potential for CO2 and hydrogen storage.
Talks are limited to 10 minutes in duration, with ample time for discussion, so we are looking for thought provoking ideas, rather than polished conference presentations. To participate all you need to do is to send the title of your proposed presentation to
basinsworkshop2023@gmail.com by Friday 13 October 2023 – abstracts and/or written papers are not required.
There is no cost for registration, but in the first instance participation is restricted to those expressing interest in making a presentation (whether or not your presentation is finally selected for inclusion in the programme). Additional places will then be made available to co-authors and others interested in attending, according to demand.
