Abstract:

Fossil assemblages (principally plants) in the Early Cretaceous non-marine and later Cretaceous marginal
marine sediments of the Otway Basin, south-eastern Australia, are examined. Their usefulness for alaeoenvironmental, palaeoclimate and source rock postulation is discussed.
