Abstract:

During the years since 1970 there has been little about which to be optimistic in the form of new discoveries to
promote pipelines in Queensland ; or even maintain the existing pipelines at full capacity.
Events during 1977 however promise moderate progress during the next year or so .
It i s the author's view, that the best value for the " exploration dollar" in Queensland in the near future is in the areas within a radius of about 100 kilometers of the existing "wider used" pipeline facilities .
