Abstract:
- A New RFT Analysis and Database Application: New RFT data analysis and database software that greatly expedites the interpretation of RFT data by the integration of several features commonly required in such work was recently introduced by Seismic Solutions International Pty Ltd.
- The Use of Seismic Stacking Velocities to locate Prospective Reservoir Section: Seismic stacking velocities generated as part of the seismic processing sequence have been used routinely for depth conversion for many years and have also been used to identify high and low-velocity layers that complicate seismic raypaths and otherwise lower seismic data quality. It is rare to be able to use this information onshore, however, due to near-surface static conditions
which degrade data quality.
