Abstract:
The actors wear crown hats of thick construction paper with job titles (GEOLOGIST, etc) written on them. They sit on stools in a row; from left to right – GEOPHYSICIST, GEOLOGIST, empty stool, ENGINEER, MANAGER. The PETROPHYSICIST stands off to the side until he enters with his first line and sits on his stool. In the premiere production, we had actresses play men as we refused to believe women would act this way. (Written by David Grybowski, September 2022.
