Abstract:

1997 saw the completion of new projects that will
maintain Australia's production levels until 2000 at
relatively stable rates. Projects completed in 1997, projects
under development and those being considered for
development are covered in this paper. A summary of
recent innovations and an analysis of the industry's reserve
replacement performance in the context of the Conference
Theme of 'Delivering National Prosperity' are presented.
