Abstract:
To ascertain the degree of vitrinite reflectance enhancement associated with subhydrous vitrinite, estimated maximum palaeotemperatures have been derived using three different methods: conventional v1tnmte reflectance (VR), fluorescence alteration of multiple macerals (FAMM™), and apatite fission track thermochronology (AFTT), from Lower Cretaceous rocks collected throughout the Otway Ranges, Victoria.
