AEGC 2025: Student and early career travel bursaries

AEGC 2025

PESA is offering several bursaries to students and early career geoscientists nationwide to attend the AEGC 2025 in Perth.

The bursaries are designed to provide assistance with travel arrangements (flights and accommodation) and conference registration fees. Bursaries will be awarded on the basis of one recipient per State Branch.

For interstate applicants, bursary awards in the amount of $1200 are available; for Perth and WA applicants, $600 bursary awards are being offered.

Applicants must hold a current Student or Graduate PESA Membership (Early Career geoscientists are defined as having <5 years industry experience). Applicants must also have submitted an abstract which has been accepted by the AEGC for either an oral or poster presentation; AND/ OR have been accepted to present at the Student & Early Career GeoPitch competition. AEGC abstract and proof of student enrolment or Early Career Geoscientist status are to be submitted with the application form.
