Congratulations to Andrew Riznyczok who has been awarded a Meritorious Service Award for his work as the Secretary of the ACT-NSW Branch for the last 10 years.

Andrew Riznyczok graduated with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Geology at the University of NSW in 2015. During Andrew’s university semester break, he began in the petroleum industry working for Bridgeport Energy as a sample catcher at the rig site.
After completing university, he began work as a technical assistant at Bridgeport Energy and has worked up to his current role as a geologist on the exploration team.
In the ten years at Bridgeport Energy, Andrew has been involved a broad range of projects focussed primarily on the Cooper Basin and the onshore Otway Basin.
Andrew is currently serving as PESA ACT-NSW branch secretary. He also has affiliations with AAPG, ASEG and SPE. Prior to joining the petroleum industry, he attended Christian Community High School in Regents Park, Sydney. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys tennis, running and Latin dance.
