Abstract:
The Neoproterozoie was a period of dramatic change within the biosphere. This period marked the transition from a series of global ice ages to climatic warming. Deglaeiation was followed by the appearance of the Ediaearan fauna and culminated with the sudden evolutionary radiation of the metazoan group at the Cambrian boundary.
