Abstract:
In the Late Proterozoic, several broad shallow intracratonic depressions appeared across a large area of central Australia (Fig. 1). The basins, which all contain Neoproterozoic to early Palaeozoic shallow marine to fluvial successions, appear to have been tenuously intereonnected through much of their history.
