Abstract:
Geoenergy is a new journal co-owned between the Geological Society and the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) that was established in 2023 (Geoenergy Home). Recently, May-June 2024, in its second volume, a thematic collection of 7 papers originating from talks presented at a two-day conference held 28–29 April 2022 at The Geological Society, London, entitled ‘Applicability of Hydrocarbon Subsurface Workflows to CCS’ were published. The conference examined the workflows underpinning current and planned CCS projects and activities, demonstrating similarities and differences with long-established hydrocarbon workflows.
