Abstract:
A new play has been identified in the Otway Basin and two onshore blocks covering this are being offered by the South Australian Government for petroleum exploration licences (PELs) on the basis of competitive work program bidding. These are blocks OT2002 A & B which have areas of 1423 km and 903 km respectively. Bidding will do at 4.00 p.m. on Thursday 22nd May 2003 and the winning bids will be announced in June 2003.
