Abstract:
Western Australia's petroleum sector has some $64 B worth of projects either underway orcommitted for the next few years yet there is almost no established midstream industry to speak of in this part of the world. Elevating University of WA Professor Eric May's Chair in Gas Process Engineering (GPE) from a three-year fixed term agreement to perpetual endowment is a significant step that should help change this situation.
