Abstract:
At the Cooper and Eromanga Basins Conference held in Adelaide on 26-27 June 1989, a presentation sponsored by the South Australian branches of PESA, SPE and ASEG reviewed the history and development of the Jackson Oil Field, which was Australia’s largest oil discovery in 1981 and is credited with the emergence of the Eromanga Basins as a prolific hydrocarbon basket and the ultimate rise of Queensland as a gas export state many years later. This report was originally published in the Cooper and Eromanga Basins, Australia. Proceedings of PESA, SPE, ASEG (SA Branches), Adelaide 1989 and can be accessed in the PESA Technical Library
