Abstract:
The development of the Queensland’s resources owes much to Bob Day. From his involvement with the early days of the South West Queensland Petroleum Consortium (SWQP) led by Delhi and Santos and its subsequent success in the Cooper Basin during his tenure as Chief Government Geologist and Director General of Mines and Energy, to his later involvement in the early days of CSG even before he became a Director of Arrow Energy and other companies.
