SUMMARY:PESA QLD: Lunch\, 20 March : What happened to CO2 storage in the Great Artesian Basin? (Navigating gas water rock reactions and potential groundwater impacts) - Dr Julie Pearce
DESCRIPTION:PESA technical lunches are back for 2025! \nPESA Queensland welcomes Dr Julie Pearce to present a technical luncheon on What happened to CO2 storage in the Great Artesian Basin? (Navigating gas water rock reactions and potential groundwater impacts) \nThe Technical Lunch will be held at the Brisbane Hilton Hotel\, (Room TBC). \nFor detailed directions\, see explanation below. \nPlease note the Early Bird ticket pricing cut-off times described below. \n\n\n\nPresentation:\nWhat happened to CO2 storage in the Great Artesian Basin? (Navigating gas water rock reactions and potential groundwater impacts)\n\n\nVenue:\nHilton Hotel Brisbane\, 190 Elizabeth Street\, Brisbane QLD 4000\nRoom TBC\n(Detailed directions below)\n\n\nDate & Time:\nThursday\, 20 March 12:15 PM\n\n\n\nPresentation Abstract: \nCarbon dioxide geological storage is one option to enable Australia to reach net zero. Several carbon storage demonstration sites are undergoing feasibility studies and environmental impact assessment internationally and in Australia. Very recently CO2 storage in the Surat Basin gained a lot of media and political attention – the QLD government has now put a ban on CCS in the geographical extent of the QLD Great Artesian Basin (and below it). The reservoir that was being assessed is in a deep (~2300 m)\, brackish\, unpotable part of the Precipice Sandstone. However\, the broader formation is an aquifer of the GAB\, therefore stakeholders were sensitive to potential environmental impacts. The previous demonstration site that underwent assessment was further north in the shallower part of the Precipice Sandstone (~1200 m). In that Glenhaven site the West Wandoan 1 well was drilled for the feasibility study\, and the reservoir had fresh groundwater. This presentation details part of the experimental and field sampling components of the underlying research\, including CO2-water-rock geochemical reactions\, metal mobilisation\, and creation of a reactive transport model. \n\nTickets for the Technical Luncheon can be purchased below. \nPlease be advised of the early bird cut-off date. \nEarly bird pricing will remain available up until Friday\, 7 March 11:30 PM  after which\, standard pricing will come into effect. \nStandard ticket pricing will be available until Monday\, 17 March 12:00 PM – To avoid disappointment please register before this time. \n\n\n\n\nEarly Bird Ticket Price\nStandard Ticket Price\n\n\n\n\nMembers – $55\nNon-Members – $75\nStudent / Retired Members – $30\nMembers – $75\nNon-Members – $95\nStudent / Retired Members – $30\n\n\n\n\nLate ticket sales up to Wednesday\, 19 March 12:00PM will be available at $95 for all tickets – subject to availability. SUMMARY:PESA QLD Lunch\, 24 October : Where comes the gas from\, where does it go? Southern Denison Trough CO2 storage possibilities from a geological perspective
DESCRIPTION:This month PESA Queensland welcomes Alison Troup to present a technical luncheon looking at the CO2 storage potential of the southern Denison Trough. \nThe Technical Lunch will be held at the Brisbane Hilton Hotel\, in Room 83 (Level 8). \nFor detailed directions\, see explanation below. \nPlease note the Early Bird ticket pricing cut-off times described below. \n\n\n\nPresentation:\nWhere comes the gas from\, where does it go? ? Southern Denison Trough CO2 storage possibilities from a geological perspective\n\n\nVenue:\nHilton Hotel Brisbane\, 190 Elizabeth?Street\,?Brisbane QLD 4000\nRoom 83\, Level 8\n(Detailed directions below)\n\n\nDate & Time:\nThursday\, 24 October 12:15 PM\n\n\n\n  \nPresentation Abstract: \nThe southern Denison Trough contains several depleted conventional gas fields\, mostly reservoired in the Aldebaran Sandstone with secondary reservoirs in sandstones of the upper Reids Dome beds. These gas fields are naturally high in CO2 and may present a good opportunity from a geological perspective for CO2 storage. In support of this an updated interpretation of the depositional environment at Merivale\, Westgrove\, Yellowbank and Punchbowl Gully has been developed to examine changes in depositional environment along the Aldebaran Sandstone paleocoastline. Comparison of the production history of Merivale to the variability in the depositional environment shows that there is strong contribution from the depositional environment to production behaviour. \nSandstones and coal seams in the upper Reids Dome beds may present a secondary target to depleted gas field storage in the southern Denison Trough. Gas distribution in the Reids Dome beds coals shows that the Hutton-Wallumbillla Fault may be a migration pathway for magmatic CO2 into the unit. High CO2 concentrations and saturations within these coals demonstrate a natural analogue for storage within this system. The stratigraphic placement of these coal seams has been improved through the use of stable carbon isotope analysis. \n\nTickets for the Technical Luncheon can be purchased below. \nPlease be advised of the early bird cut-off date. \nEarly bird pricing will now remain available up until Monday\, 21 October 12:00 PM after which\, standard pricing will come into effect. \nTo avoid disappointment please register before that date and time. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPESA Members ? $55\nNon-Members ? $75\nStudent / Retired Members ? $30\n\n\n\n\n\nLate ticket sales up to Wednesday\, 20 October 12:00PM will be available for $95 for all tickets – subject to availability. SUMMARY:PESA QLD: Lunch\, 11 July : Analogues for subsurface characterization for the Energy Transition - Prof. Simon Lang
DESCRIPTION:Due to popular demand\, this event has moved to a larger room and now more tickets are available! \nThis month PESA Queensland welcomes one of the recent Australian Geoscience Council National Geoscience Champions\, Professor Simon Lang to present a technical luncheon on how having robust models of depositional systems will be as important as ever through the energy transition\, or as Simon says…Geology matters! \nThe Technical Lunch will be held at the Brisbane Hilton Hotel\, in Room 83 (Level 8). \nFor detailed directions\, see explanation below. \nPlease note the Early Bird ticket pricing cut-off times described below. \n\n\n\nPresentation:\nAnalogues for subsurface characterization for the energy transition\n\n\nVenue:\nHilton Hotel Brisbane\, 190 Elizabeth Street\, Brisbane QLD 4000\nQueen Ballroom\, Level 5\n(Detailed directions below)\n\n\nDate & Time:\nThursday\, 11 July 12:15 PM\n\n\n\nPresentation Abstract: \nThe energy transition over the next few decades will provide challenges to all geoscientists who will need to extend the skills and lessons learned from fossil fuel exploration\, development and production to carbon sequestration and utilization (CCUS)\, conventional and H2 gas storage\, sediment-hosted copper\, uranium and lithium exploration\, and related hydrological and geotechnical issues. \nTypically high quality and abundant data is mostly available where existing fields occur (seismic\, wells\, dynamic data)\, but data will be sparser where we need to undertake new geological studies to support the energy transition. To infill the scale-gap between seismic and wells\, all the way down to core and pore-level\, we need to deploy appropriate analogues for the tectonic\, climatic and accommodation/sediment supply regimes. \nThis presentation will focus on depositional systems and their subsurface reservoirs/seals/baffles\, and how analogues from seismic\, well data\, producing fields\, outcrops and modern depositional systems can help constrain the uncertainties involved with subsurface geo-modelling\, that will still be needed to develop the new energy resources needed for the energy transition. \n\nTickets for the Technical Luncheon can be purchased below. \nPlease be advised of the early bird cut-off date. \nEarly bird pricing will remain available up until Tuesday\, 2 July 11:30 PM  after which\, standard pricing will come into effect. \nStandard ticket pricing will be available until Monday\, 8 July 12:00 PM – To avoid disappointment please register before this time. \nIn recognition of Professor Lang’s recent award of the AGC National Geoscience award\, PESA is pleased to announce that for this lunch\, all members of AGC Member Organisations (MOs) will be eligible for member ticket prices. \n\n\n\n\nEarly Bird Ticket Price\nStandard Ticket Price\n\n\n\n\nAGC MO Members – $55\nNon-Members – $75\nStudent / Retired Members – $30\nAGC MO Members – $75\nNon-Members – $95\nStudent / Retired Members – $30\n\n\n\n\nLate ticket sales up to Wednesday\, 10 July 12:00PM will be available at $95 for all tickets – subject to availability. SUMMARY:PESA QLD Lunch\, 20 June : Mega-intrusions and Volcanic ruins: A tour of magmatism in the Carnarvon Basin\, WA
DESCRIPTION:This month PESA Queensland welcomes Dr. Michael Curtis to present a technical luncheon looking at the fascinating volcanic history of the Carnarvon Basin and implications for exploration. \nThe Technical Lunch will be held at the Brisbane Hilton Hotel\, in Room 83 (Level 8). \nFor detailed directions\, see explanation below. \nPlease note the Early Bird ticket pricing cut-off times described below. \n\n\n\nPresentation:\nMega-intrusions and Volcanic ruins: A tour of magmatism in the Carnarvon Basin\, WA\n\n\nVenue:\nHilton Hotel Brisbane\, 190 Elizabeth Street\, Brisbane QLD 4000\nRoom 83\, Level 8\n(Detailed directions below)\n\n\nDate & Time:\nThursday\, 20 June 12:15 PM\n\n\n\n  \nPresentation Abstract: \nThe Northern Carnarvon Basin formed as a result of Late Jurassic rifting\, and Early Cretaceous breakup of Greater India from the Australian continent.  Magma was emplaced into the Exmouth Plateau and Exmouth Sub-Basin over an area of ~50\,000 km2.  Until recently the spatial distribution of this igneous system\, and hence its potential impact on regional petroleum systems\, was relatively unknown.  The only references to the magmatic system were 1990s ‘blob’ maps created using 100+ km spaced 2D seismic\, magnetic and gravity data\, and references of penetrations of igneous rocks in well completion reports from ~8 wells and boreholes. \nNew interpretive work (the essence of my PhD)\, utilising SLB & TGS ultra-broadband 3D seismic data covering much of the Exmouth Plateau and Exmouth Subbasin\, reveals the igneous system in all its glory!  In this talk we will tour both its intrusive and extrusive components\, asking why it is the way it is and what its current configuration might have meant for the development of Carnarvon Basin petroleum systems.  We will attempt to answer why some intrusions are of record-breaking proportions (170+ km long)\, while others nearby are much much smaller (3 to 5 km diameter).  We’ll also look at the eroded ruins of volcanoes (that until recently hadn’t been known to exist at all) and consider the original size of the volcanic complex\, and the implications of volcano erosion on regional reservoir quality. \nTime permitting\, we’ll round off with an example or two of how not to drill in igneous affected areas. \n\nTickets for the Technical Luncheon can be purchased below. \nPlease be advised of the early bird cut-off date. \nEarly bird pricing will now remain available up until Monday\, 17 June 12:00 PM  after which\, standard pricing will come into effect. \nTo avoid disappointment please register before that date and time. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPESA Members – $55\nNon-Members – $75\nStudent / Retired Members – $30\n\n\n\n\n\nLate ticket sales up to Wednesday\, 19 June 12:00PM will be available for $95 for all tickets – subject to availability. SUMMARY:PESA QLD: AGM and Lunch\, 16 May : A maiden contingent resource in Cuba for Melbana: the Amistad-1 success story
DESCRIPTION:This month PESA Queensland welcomes Duncan Lockhart to present a technical luncheon on the exciting progress Melbana Energy have made in Cuba. \nThe Technical Lunch will be held at the Brisbane Hilton Hotel\, in Room 83 (Level 8). \nThe Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the PESA QLD Branch will be hosted prior to the commencement of the Technical Lunch. \nFor detailed directions\, see explanation below. \nPlease note the Early Bird ticket pricing cut-off times described below. \n\n\n\nPresentation:\nMelbana Energy in Cuba – an exploration success in the Caribbean\n\n\nVenue:\nHilton Hotel Brisbane\, 190 Elizabeth Street\, Brisbane QLD 4000\nRoom 83\, Level 8\n(Detailed directions below)\n\n\nDate & Time:\nThursday\, 16 May 12:15 PM\n\n\n\n  \nPresentation Abstract: \nMelbana Energy drilled the Alameda-1 discovery well in onshore Cuba in 2021. By 2022 the discovery was independently certified by McDaniel (A Canadian based Reserves Certifier with extensive experience in Cuba) to contain over 5 billion barrels of oil in place (best estimate) and 267 million barrels of recoverable oil (best estimate). \nIn 2023 Melbana followed up the Alameda-1 well with the successful Amistad-1 appraisal well which was designed to test the uppermost sheet of reservoirs in the Alameda field (Unit 1A\, 1B\, 2 and 3). \n• Unit 1A recovered 11.7° API oil with 3\,783 cP viscosity at surface from a 63 metre MD interval starting from 445 metres MD. Although flow rates at surface were not established 40 barrels of oil flowed unassisted to surface (through a 32/64” choke)\, exceeding expectations. \n• Unit 3 intercepted 200 metres updip and 500 metres to the south of the Alameda-1 intercept and confirmed moveable oil of a similar quality to Unit 1A. Testing indicated the potential to flow at ~750 bopd. The Unit 2 DST did not demonstrate moveable hydrocarbons to surface at the location tested. \n• Unit 1B recovered 19.4° API oil with 5.7 cP viscosity at surface from a 70 metre TVD perforated section – less than 20% of the total Net Pay for Unit 1B (when incorporating fractures). Stabilised unassisted flow rate to surface of 1\,235 bopd measured over 12 hours on a 36/64” choke\, peaking at 1\,903 bopd. \nLogged Net Pay for the entire Amistad Formation has been increased from 109 metres to 346 metres TVD – further increasing to 615 metres when the highly fractured limestones are incorporated (45% of the gross interval). Unit 1B has now been completed for future production\, whilst Units 1A and 3 have been suspended for potential future development and production. \nIn March 2024 McDaniel provided a resource update on the Unit 1B; \n• 46 MMbbls (P50) Contingent Resources – Development Pending in the eastern section of the greater Alameda field in the vicinity of the existing wells. \n• 90 MMbbls (P50) Prospective Resources of assigned in the western part of the field to reflect the uncertainty associated with being away from the existing wells. However\, McDaniels assigned a 70% chance of discovery to the prospective resource reflecting the low- risk nature of this area (given it is updip from the existing discoveries within the field). The risk associated with this area is based on reservoir deliverability. \n• Unit 1A is currently under assessment with McDaniels. \nMelbana is currently drilling Alameda-3\, a well designed to test the deeper Alameda (N) and Marti (I) sheets. These hold even greater potential to flow lighter API than the shallow Amistad field. \nPlanning is currently well advanced to acquire a 400km2 3D seismic survey to cover the field and surrounding areas which demonstrate high prospectivity. \nA preliminary field development plan is being developed for exploitation of Unit1B and an additional two wells focussing purely on production from Unit1B are being planned to be drilled by the end of 2024 with the aim of initiating international oil export from Cuba. \n  \n\nTickets for the Technical Luncheon can be purchased below. \nPlease be advised of the early bird cut-off date. \nEarly bird pricing will remain available up until Tuesday\, 7 May 11:30 PM  after which\, standard pricing will come into effect. \nFinal numbers to venue required by Monday\, 13 May 12:00 PM – To avoid disappointment please register before that date and time. \n  \n\n\n\n\nEarly Bird Ticket Price\nStandard Ticket Price\n\n\n\n\nPESA Members – $55\nNon-Members – $75\nStudent / Retired Members – $30\nPESA Members – $75\nNon-Members – $95\nStudent / Retired Members – $30\n\n\n\n\n  \n\nPESA QLD 2024 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING\nThe Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the PESA QLD Branch will be hosted prior to the commencement of the Technical Lunch. \nMembers are encouraged to attend the AGM to have their say with the PESA QLD committee. \nPESA QLD are always interested to have active involvement from our membership… and what better way than to take up a position on the PESA QLD Committee!  Interested members who are keen to become a committee member are encouraged to lodge a nomination form (see link below).  Any member is invited to nominate for any of the available roles detailed on the Nomination form.  Any questions\, please email qld-secretary@pesa.com.au \nPlease find below the requisite AGM governance documents for distribution to members\, provided at least 21 days ahead of the AGM as required by the PESA Constitution: \nAgenda AGM 2024\nProxy Form\nMinutes of 2023 AGM\nNomination form\n2023 President’s Report \n\nThe venue location can be accessed by two means: \n1) Entry from Queen Street Mall\nTake the lifts to Level 6\, and walk to the guest lifts located in the centre of the main atrium and take the lift to Level 8. Cooper has been a prolific gas basin for over 60 years and the overlying Eromanga basin has been predominantly Oil saturated. Thus gas discoveries in the Eromanga basin are generally termed as “shallow-gas”. The talk will look into various seismic characterisation methods that help in delineating the shallow-gas fields. In the process we will cover some of the structural and the stratigraphical seismic attribute methods that have been useful in field delineation. We will also look into the fluid characterisation methods e.g. AVO and Fluid substitution. We would venture into some in-land canyons in our own backyard and understand the unique play model associated with it. \n  \n\nTickets for the Technical Luncheon can be purchased below: \nTicket sales extended to Wednesday\, 17 April 12:00 PM – To avoid disappointment please register before that date and time. \n\n\n\n\nStandard Ticket Price\n\n\n\n\nPESA Members – $55\nNon-Members – $75\nStudent / Retired Members – $30\n\n\n\n\n\nThe venue location can be accessed by two means: \n1) Entry from Queen Street Mall\nTake the lifts to Level 6\, and walk to the guest lifts located in the centre of the main atrium and take the lift to Level 8. SUMMARY:PESA QLD: Lunch Presentation\, 19th October – Brendon Mitchell
DESCRIPTION:This month PESA welcomes Brendon Mitchell to present a technical luncheon entitled: \n“High Value\, Low Cost\, Low Impact Seismic for optimising horizontal drilling”\nThe Technical Lunch will be held at the Brisbane Hilton Hotel\, in room the Victoria Room. \nFor detailed directions\, see explanation below. \n\n\n\nPresentation:\nHigh Value\, Low Cost\, Low Impact Seismic for optimising horizontal drilling\n\n\nVenue:\nHilton Hotel Brisbane\, 190 Elizabeth Street\, Brisbane QLD 4000\nRoom 83 (NOTE CHANGE FROM USUAL ROOM)\n(Detailed directions below)\n\n\nDate & Time:\nThursday\, 19th October 12:15 PM\n\n\n\n  \nPresentation Abstract: \nHigh Value\, Low Cost\, Low Impact Seismic for optimising horizontal drilling \nA proof-of-concept 3D seismic survey was acquired over the Glenaras Gas Pilot earlier this year as a collaboration project between Oceania Geo\, Galilee Energy\, Stryde (nimble nodes)\, and Earth Signal Processing. \nThe Enviro-Pad 3D trial aimed to test the viability of acquiring small footprint 3D seismic surveys using lower cost and lower impact technology to deliver fit for purpose 3D seismic data that can inform fast turnaround well planning and optimisation decisions. The concept of an Enviro-Pad 3D is to provide 3D imaging over a proposed lateral well path faster and cheaper than traditional 3D surface seismic. Recent advances in both source and receiver technology have facilitated higher density surveys with lower operational footprint and lower impact on affected parties. \nAn overview of the design concept\, operational execution\, and initial results will be presented to highlight the multi-faceted benefits the technology brings to the exploitation of unconventional resources and the potential to make seismic commercially and operationally viable where it may not have been otherwise. \n  \n\nTickets for the Technical Luncheon can be purchased below: \nFinal numbers to venue required by Monday\, 16 October 12:00 PM – To avoid disappointment please register before that date and time. This talk describes the challenges presented by the complex geology and the process of developing an understanding from the regional to the prospect scale. Timor Island is the product of an active continental collision\, which has been studied by numerous academics for decades. Timor Resources has harnessed some of their ideas\, added a few of our own\, and recently acquired 2 seismic surveys and drilled 3 wells in the Suai Sub-Basin on the southern coast\, including a deep “sub-decollement” play\, first proposed in the 1970s. The talk will show the regional structure developed using gravity and outcrop data and then zoom in to the prospect scale for a look at the recent drilling results. \n  \n\nTickets for the Technical Luncheon can be purchased below: \nEarly bird pricing will remain available up until Wednesday\, 12 July 11:30 PM after which\, standard pricing will come into effect. \nFinal numbers to venue required by Monday\, 17 July 12:00 PM – To avoid disappointment please register before that date and time. \n\n\n\n\nEarly Bird Ticket Price\nStandard Ticket Price\n\n\n\nPESA & ASEG Members – $55\nNon-Members – $77\nStudent / Retired Members – $33\nPESA & ASEG Members – $77\nNon-Members – $99\nStudent / Retired Members – $33\n\n\n\n\nThe venue location can be accessed by two means: \n1) Entry from Queen Street Mall\nEnter the lifts located just to the left of Mick O’Malley’s Irish Pub\, and take the lifts to Level 6.  Once you exit the lifts\, the Victoria Room is immediately to the left. \n2) Entry from Elizabeth Street\nEnter the foyer located on 190 Elizabeth Street\, and take the lifts to Level 6 (Main Foyer).  The Victoria Room is located in the back of the main foyer towards the right as you walk past Vintaged Restaurant. \n\n  \n\n\n\n\nKeep track of upcoming PESA QLD Events:\n\nClick here to view PESA QLD Events Calendar on the web\n\n\n\n\nClick here to subscribe to PESA QLD Events by adding it to your Google Calendar \n

SUMMARY:PESA QLD: AGM and Technical Lunch\, 22nd June : Melbana Energy in Cuba – an exploration success in the Caribbean
DESCRIPTION:This month PESA Queensland welcomes Duncan Lockhart to present a technical luncheon highlighting Melbana Energy’s activities and the complex and fascinating geology of Cuba. \n\n\n\nPresentation:\nMelbana Energy in Cuba – an exploration success in the Caribbean\n\n\nVenue:\nHilton Hotel Brisbane\, 190 Elizabeth Street\, Brisbane QLD 4000\nRoom 83\, Level 8\n(Detailed directions below)\n\n\nDate & Time:\nThursday\, 22 June 12:15 PM\n\n\n\n  \nPresentation Abstract: \nIn September 2015 Melbana Energy was awarded the Block 9 PSC\, an onshore block on the north coast of Cuba which covers over 2\,344 km2. The block is 140km east of Havana in a proven hydrocarbon system and on trend with the multi-billion barrel Varadero oil field. Cuba currently produces approximately 45\,000 barrels of oil per day and 3 million cubic metres of gas. Oil production meets 50% of the domestic consumption\, with the balance satisfied by imports. Most of the oil industry is currently operated by the national oil company\, CUPET. The Canadian company\, Sherritt International\, has been producing oil in Cuba for over 25 years. \nThe geology of northern Cuba is dominated by complex fold and thrust belt geology which has encapsulated rich source rocks\, fractured carbonate reservoirs\, serpentinitic shales and ophiolites. Seismic data in Block 9 is limited to various vintages of 2D data of generally poor quality. Melbana has drilled two exploration wells to date in Block 9\, the first well Alameda-1 was spudded in September 2021 and drilled to a depth of 4000m. This well encountered continuous oil shows from as shallow as 400m with oil regularly flowing over the shakers while drilling. Several high-pressure zones were encountered whilst drilling reflecting the intersection of separate pressure compartments bounded by various thrust faults. A total of 218m of net log pay was encountered (precluding zones which could not be logged due to adverse hole conditions). A total of 6.4 billion barrels OOIP with 362 mmbbls of P50 prospective resource have subsequently been independently certified at Alameda based on seismic mapping and the well result. The second well Zapato-1 reached a total depth of 3700m. Oil was observed flowing over the shakers at the top of the ophiolite sequence from a fault zone indicating access to a mature oil generative system below the ophiolites\, unfortunately the well reached TD still within the ophiolites\, above the anticipated reservoir section. A review of the gravity and magnetic model is underway to ascertain a more favourable location for a potential Zapato follow up. \nA two well appraisal campaign designed with the prime objective to obtain a measure flow rate of the Alameda numerous discovery zones is on track to spud at the end of June 2023. \n  \n  \n\nTickets for the Technical Luncheon can be purchased below. \nPlease be advised of the early bird cut-off date. \nEarly bird pricing will remain available up until Wednesday\, 14 June 11:30 PM  after which\, standard pricing will come into effect. \nFinal numbers to venue required by Monday\, 19 June 12:00 PM – To avoid disappointment please register before that date and time. \n  \n\n\n\n\nEarly Bird Ticket Price\nStandard Ticket Price\n\n\n\n\nPESA Members – $55\nNon-Members – $75\nStudent / Retired Members – $30\nPESA Members – $75\nNon-Members – $95\nStudent / Retired Members – $30\n\n\n\n\nRegistrants may elect to book a ‘Talk Only’ ticket below.  Chairs will be made available at the back of the room for members wishing to attend the presentation. \nTalk Only tickets are free of charge\, however\, no refreshments or lunch is included. \n\nPESA QLD 2023 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING\nThe Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the PESA QLD Branch will be hosted prior to the commencement of the Technical Lunch. Any questions\, please email qld-secretary@pesa.com.au \nPlease find below the requisite AGM governance documents for distribution to members\, provided at least 21 days ahead of the AGM as required by the PESA Constitution: \nAgenda AGM 2023\nProxy Form\nMinutes of 2022 AGM\nNomination form\n2022 President’s Report \n\nThe venue location can be accessed by two means: \n1) Entry from Queen Street Mall\nTake the lifts to Level 6\, and walk to the guest lifts located in the centre of the main atrium and take the lift to Level 8.
