DESCRIPTION:PESA-ASEG 37th Annual Golf Classic: Meadow Springs\n  \nThe PESA-ASEG Annual Golf Classic is one of the most pleasant and well-attended oil and mineral industry golf tournaments held in Perth with recent years enjoying attendances of 100+ players.\nThis years tournament will be hosted at Meadow Springs in Mandurah\, on Friday 15th November 2024. Opened in 1987\, Meadow Springs Golf and Country Club offers ‘golf as nature intended’. The course\, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr.\, presents a highly regarded test for players but is also renowned for its playability. \nAfter the charity success from previous years\, PESA-ASEG has decided to partner again with our charity of choice\, Parkerville Children and Youth Care. The charity is a 115-year-old non-for-profit organization\, based here in WA. With 1/4 girls and 1/6 boys affected by child abuse and trauma by the age of 18\, Parkerville has a huge role within our community; to raise awareness of child abuse\, provide services for those in need and grow the network of support in providing a future for our WA children\, young people\, and families. As a proud supporter of the charity\, we will run the day to raise as many funds as possible and are inviting your company to take part in it. This event is done annually in support of the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Over the last 23 years\, it has raised more than $428\,000 for this most worthy cause. \nSo we are pleased to invite you to the 2024 PESA/SPE Golf Tournament on Friday\, 15th of March at the West Lakes Golf Club. All aspiring golfers are welcome to play\, irrespective of their handicap and golf skills. And as always\, all money raised will go straight to the Royal Flying Doctor Service. \nWe look forward to seeing you there! \nRegistration and Activities\nTo register for this event\, download the flyer below (PDF) which includes the registration form. Complete the form and email it to the address and contact person indicated before March 8\, 2024. \nOn Golf Day (March 15)\, players must register with the starters before 9.30 a.m.\, with players moving onto the course at 10:00 a.m. \nDinner and presentations will be held in the Club House at approximately 6.00 p.m. Only those players attending the dinner are eligible to win prizes. \nBreakfast\, lunch and light refreshments will be provided whilst negotiating on-course obstacles. The course is well “watered” and most golfing requirements will be found in the “grab” bags. \nAdelaide PESA/SPE Golf Tournament will be played as an Ambrose competition. \nReminders:\n\nWest Lakes Golf Club is a private Golf Club. With 1/4 girls and 1/6 boys affected by child abuse and trauma by the age of 18\, Parkerville has a huge role within our community; to raise awareness of child abuse\, provide services for those in need and grow the network of support in providing a future for our WA children\, young people\, and families. DESCRIPTION:Proudly sponsored by IKON Geoscience:\n\nWe invite you to join friends and colleagues at our Annual Winter Warmer Social on Friday 21st July at The WA Museum Boola Bardip.\nEvent details:\nAfter a successful 2021 event\, the Annual PESA WA Winter Warmer is back at The WA Museum Boola Bardjip. Join us for an evening of socialising whil e investigating the unique and interconnected biodiversity that has evolved in Western Australia over millions of years. We have secured a space inside the hallways of the museum\, just outside the Wild Life exhibit. The evening is open for friends\, colleagues and partners to come together for this special event\, where drinks (beer\, wine and soft drinks) and nibbles are included in the ticket price. There will also be a raffle and door prizes. \nWhilst here\, take the opportunity to investigate the Wild Life exhibit to explore the diverse environments found across our State\, including the Ningaoo Reef\, Peel-Yalgorup wetlands\, Stirling Ranges and Cityscapes around the Swan River. Discover the relationships between the people\, plants and animals and how communities are working to protect and sustain these ecosystems. This gallery is all Western Australia’s unique biodiversity and is a vibrant\, multi-sensory space filled with ancient fossils\, rare specimens and live creatures. \nWhere: This years event is being held at the WA Museum Boola Bardip\, hallway area outside of the Wild Life Exhibit (Level 3) \nDate: Friday\, 21st July \nTime: 5:00-8:30pm \n(Museum is in the heart of Northbridge\, opportunity to kick-on after Museum closes) \nWe encourage you to bring your partner along to this amazing event.
