DESCRIPTION:2026 PESA QLD Symposium – A Must-Attend Event for Energy Industry Professionals! \nThe annual PESA QLD Symposium is back in 2025\, and this year’s theme is Energy: Where to from Here? \nThis year the Symposium will be held on Monday\, 7th September 2026 at the Brisbane Conference and Exhibition Centre (Plaza Level P1 & P2). \nThe PESA QLD Symposium is a full day event focused on bringing together members of the petroleum and energy exploration and production industry here in Queensland. Local and Interstate specialist speakers are invited to present a series of papers which address the industry activity within the state from a technical\, economic\, and social perspective. \nThis year’s theme will explore the opportunities and challenges surrounding energy security and resilience in Australia\, particularly within the context of energy exploration\, development\, and supply. \nKey sub-themes include: \n\nEnergy Security \nEnergy Resilience \nNew Frontiers \nTechnology/AI for Energy Assessment and Development \nAlternative Energy Sources \nEnergy Transition \nPolitical/Geopolitical Volatility \n\nThe symposium will feature a diverse program of keynote and technical presentations addressing energy security\, resource development\, emerging technologies\, and the evolving role of petroleum and gas in Australia’s energy transition. \nHighlights will include insights from Sam McCulloch\, Chief Executive Australian Energy Producers on current and future energy requirements\, and a unique historical perspective on petroleum geoscience and the energy transition from the Australian Geoscience Champion\, Peter Moore. \nThis year’s program will also feature speakers from a range of companies\, consultancies\, and institutions including the Australian Carbon Vault\, Molyneux Advisors\, CSIRO\, Omega Oil and Gas\, Elixir Energy\, Denison Gas\, OGT Energy\, Bridgeport\, and more. \nThe current program is presented below (subject to change). \n \n\nSponsorship Opportunities: \nThe 2026 PESA Queensland Symposium is made possible through the support of our generous sponsors.
