DESCRIPTION:PESA VIC/TAS are holding a joint Christmas Lunch together with our friends from ASEG and SPE. \n  \nBefore our lunch there will be a technical talk by Andrew Long (PGS)\, titled: \nThe Karma Sutra of Seismic \nAndrew Long returns  for a joint PESA-ASEG-SPE Christmas event that must not be missed: \nDrawing heavily upon subsurface images\, videos\, and a variety of questionable props\, he will describe\, in an accessible and entertaining manner\, how an emerging collection of ultra-high-resolution (UHR) and low impact seismic technologies\, augmented by AI and automation\, promise to impact exploration and development programs across the energy sector. He promises to have something of interest for every discipline in attendance\, with an emphasis of course upon an enjoyable lunch with friends and colleagues after a long meeting hiatus. \n  \n  \nThis event is open to members and non-members. \nASEG members\, please book for this event via this site. \nSPE members please book via your respective organisation. \n  \nHenry & the Fox \n12.30pm Tuesday 5th December 2023 \nThere will be drinks followed by a two course lunch and the presentation. \nPESA Members: $70 \nASEG Members: $70 \nNon-members: $80 \nStudents: $35 \nBookings close 5pm Sunday 3rd December
