Cooper has been a prolific gas basin for over 60 years and the overlying Eromanga basin has been predominantly Oil saturated. Thus gas discoveries in the Eromanga basin are generally termed as “shallow-gas”. The talk will look into various seismic characterisation methods that help in delineating the shallow-gas fields. In the process we will cover some of the structural and the stratigraphical seismic attribute methods that have been useful in field delineation. We will also look into the fluid characterisation methods e.g. AVO and Fluid substitution. Delegates will need to turn left out of the guest lifts and walk down the hallway to Room 82. \n2) Entry from Elizabeth Street\nEnter the foyer located on 190 Elizabeth Street\, and take the lifts to Level 6 (Main Foyer). Walk to the guest lifts located in the centre of the main atrium and take the lift to Level 8.
